The old patio area was completed redesigned with removing the gravel and old slabbing. New foundation was applied over the entire area.
We created a squared off area for the new astro turf which was laid on a fine aggregate base and tied down with a wooden framework.
The block paving was laid on a grit sand base using a Vendage coloured brick as the main colour and a 9 inch charcoal border around it.
We feel the new patio is quite a dramatic improvement over the old one and will be a very low maintenance option compared to the previous one.
