Here are some before, during and after pictures of a block paving driveway completed by SD Home Improvements in Yate, Bristol.
First we started by breaking up and removing the old concrete and gravel driveway. Our next step was to lay an 804 sub-base, followed by a heavy duty weed protection membrane.
To avoid potential water damage to the surface, we installed brand new ACO drains set in concrete at the entrance of the driveway.
The charcoal paving blocks were laid in a traditional 90 degree pattern with a border of grey. The front door’s step was fashioned in the same design to match the look.
