Here are some pictures of before, during and after of a block paving driveway in Yate, Bristol. Materials were provided and work was delivered by our block paving professionals at SD Home Improvements.
Our first step was to dig out all of the original concrete driveway and damaged areas.
Next, we took down the front wall to make space for two cars in the future driveway.
Then we made a solid foundation for the paving blocks, by laying a type 1 MOT base with membrane sheeting and a bed of stone dust.
To avoid water pooling on the surface, ACO drains were installed at the front of the driveway.
The paving blocks themselves were laid in a traditional 45° herringbone pattern. The front doorstep was laid with matching blocks and enclosed with charcoal block paving kerbs.
We would like to invite you to give us a call to discuss your own block paving driveway projects. More details can be further found at https://www.drivewayandpatiospecialists.co.uk/driveway-contractors/paving-contractors-bristol/.
